Free online movies – FEWDIO Horror & The Daywalt shorts
Hello, my beloved horror squad! There was such a great response to the poems last blog that we’ll revisit that theme next post with a spotlight on dark poet Rick Powell. I look forward to it.
But first, there’s something I’ve been wanting to share. I know a lot of you hardcore horror fans already know about the Drew Daywalt short horror films. They’ve been out for 5 years or so. I’d seen a few of them during my own internet escapades, but until blog follower Peggie Christy pointed it out to me, I had no idea just how many of these fun little films there actually are! You can find HOURS of entertainment (or at least, it felt like it took me hours to watch them all!) on the following Youtube channels: Fewdiodotcom and Drew Daywalt. The only videos I haven’t watched are the episodes of Camera Obscura, which I am saving for a rainy day when I can sit down and view all 20 back to back. As for the stand alone films, I’ve picked my two favorites from each channel and posted them below.
Until I started obsessing over these films, I wasn’t aware that Drew also directed a film I really enjoyed back in 2002 called Stark Raving Mad. These days, in 2015, it seems Drew has embarked on a new path authoring children’s books. An interesting guy, to be sure, and you can’t go wrong on a lazy day by checking out his free films if you haven’t already. Maybe start with my picks below?
